HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE 2008 – Dec. 5 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.: This year’s theme is a Celtic Christmas! We need volunteers for a variety of activities including Balloon Assistants, Artist Helpers, Performance Ushers and much more! What to wear:
Costumes reflecting this year’s theme are encouraged! Holiday Open House is a Cajun Christmas and Spring Fling is Wild About Art. Otherwise, comfortable shoes, khakis, dress pants, dress jeans, skirt, polo or dress shirt. The Arts Center provides volunteer badges for you to wear.

THE IRVING ARTS CENTER
The Irving Arts Center houses two state-of-the-art theatres, four galleries, facilities for meetings, reception, classrooms or rehearsals, as well as an outdoor sculpture garden all on a six-acre site. More than 300 performances are held annually at the center including a full range of performing arts activities, receptions and corporate meetings. The galleries annually host more than 20 rotating exhibitions. The Irving Arts Center is always looking for volunteers to help with various activities throughout the year. Opportunities include:

Lyric Stage
Lyric Stage is Dallas County’s only locally produced professional musical theater company. They are in need in volunteers that can provide general production help such as backstage crew, sewing for costumes, light-board operators, carpenters and follow-spot operators. ICT MainStage
Irving Community Theater has grown to be one of the largest volunteer-based theatres in Texas. ICT has a variety of volunteer needs ranging from actors, fund raising, stage help, box office staff and ushers to scenery builders and sewing costumes.
